Payment: Payment can be made by Cheque or Postal Order, payable to: John Mayo. Please do not send cash through the post.

Delivery: All original photographs will be returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery, along with your completed restorations. John Mayo cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to your restorations during transit with the Royal Mail. All restorations and original materials are covered by Royal Mail's basic insurance and no other costs or charges can be levied onto John Mayo for subsequent loss.

Guarantee: Your restorations are covered by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. Should you feel that the restoration is unsatisfactory, we will replace it with one that you are happy with, at no extra cost to you.

All claims for faulty goods must be received within 5 working days of receipt. Goods damaged during delivery must be returned with the original packaging before any replacements can be dispatched. In all events and circumstances, the limit of our liability is restricted to the value of only replacing materials we have used.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Quality: We will endeavour to match image quality and colour (where necessary) as closely as possible to the original photograph. Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed due to limitations of the electronic processing, ink dyes and base paper used in the process. As with all digital images, the picture is made up of tiny dots and not continuous tones as with a photographic print.

You are advised to keep all digital images under glass, in a plastic wallet or in a photograph album, away from any source of moisture, airborne contaminant and direct sunlight.

Advertising: John Mayo reserves the right to show, display, exhibit or use in advertising any photographs repaired, retouched or manipulated by John Mayo for the benefit of the promotion of his skills, talents and ability unless a written authority objecting to such display on the grounds of confidentiality or the Official Secrets Act signed by the customer is received before the commencement of the work.

Copyright Warning: By entering into a contract with John Mayo and by requesting his services, you are assumed to own the full copyright, or have obtained permission to use the photographic image to be manipulated.

You, the customer, will be held liable for any violation of copyright taken by a third party.

We reserve the right to refuse restorations where the damage is excessive and the final restoration would be unsatisfactory.
